SIM LAKE

Sim Lake offers miles of fast breaking shorelines, numerous mid-lake islands and several bays that create dozens of structural points which are the key features for fishing the lake successfully.

Walleye are the primary sportfish of Sim Lake as well as Northern pike.  The occasional blue walleye and whitefish can also be found.  Early season angling in shallow water has produced outstanding numbers of walleye ranging between 1 and 3 pounds.  Mid-summer to late summer produces larger walleyes with the occasional trophy.

With all the structural features and water depth changes, which are perfect for walleye, anglers can enjoy large quantities and non-stop action.

We are strong advocates for catch and consume and catch and release to maintain the quality of the fishery for years to come.

CAMP

The cabin at Sim Lake is the only cabin on the lake which is located in the narrows between the two main lake basins.  This makes it the ideal sheltered location, perfect for swimming, relaxing on the dock, or a leisure trip out in the canoe.

The 8-man cabin is equipped with solar lights, propane stove and fridge, hot and cold running water, shower in cabin, BBQ, fish fryer and a large screened in front porch to gather and talk about the days adventures.

Visitors will also have the use of 4-14ft Naden boats equipped with new Yamaha four stroke 9.9 and 8hp motors and a canoe.
